The book explores the processes of formation and re-formation of citizen bodies, the integration of foreigners, the question of multiple-citizenship holders and the political and philosophical thought on ancient citizenship. She has published a monograph, Poverty in Athenian Public Discourse (2015) and several articles on the social and economic history of the Greek world.Anna Busetto, Ph.D. (2014), University of Roma Tre, is currently a teacher of Classics at secondary school and an independent researcher. She is mainly interested in Greek and Byzantine Literature, Philology and Palaeography.
